What do you pray when you don't know which way to go? When the road ahead is uncertain, the memories behind you are painful, and all you really want is to know that God is near?
Inspired by Psalm 25, "Teach Me Your Ways" is a tender, prayerful song about trusting God's guidance, remembering His mercy, and finding peace in His presence.
Drawing from David's heartfelt plea, the lyrics move between the longing to know God's ways and the deep assurance of His unfailing love. They echo one of the most beautiful prayers in the Psalms: Forget all my failures. Remember Your grace.
Through valleys of shadows, the regrets of yesterday, and the uncertainties of tomorrow, this song reminds us that God's faithfulness is greater than our failures and His wisdom reaches beyond what we can see.
At its heart is a simple but life-changing truth: We don't always need to know where the road leads. We need to know the One who leads us.
With its gentle melody and contemplative spirit, "Teach Me Your Ways" is an invitation to slow down, surrender your worries, and turn an ancient psalm into a personal prayer.
Whether you're seeking direction, struggling with regret, or simply longing for a deeper walk with God, may this song become your prayer:
Show me Your ways.
Teach me Your truth.
Remember Your mercy,
O God of my youth.
