Inside Piedmont
There is joy and grief in the women's wing of the hospital new birth and chemo.
Head right and there's the violence of malignancy,
Turn left and there are balloons, laughter and unbridled joy.
But we all hold these things together at the same time.
The grit and glory of life is mixed together.
And in each story, the Spirit is moving, comforting, compelling...
And we all get to see brief glimpses-
the vibrance of glory in the center of the city where we are all
(every race, tongue and tribe)
are in it together.
There's beauty and advent in the beginning and ending of each story.
